One of my favorite makeup products to test out is foundation. I have a ton of freckles that I hate, so I’m always looking for a great foundation that will cover everything without looking too heavy. I have dry/normal skin, and for every day I generally like a medium coverage foundation with a natural/dewy finish.
I’ve been seeing the new Becca Ultimate Coverage Foundation everywhere so I was excited to have the chance to test it out. With that being said, this foundation is not my favorite. It’s very thick and feels a little heavy on my skin. I find it a little hard to blend out with a brush, which is what I prefer to use to apply foundation. It only wears for a few hours on me before it starts to break apart and get cakey, especially around my nose. I also used this foundation with the Becca First Light Priming Filter. I really didn’t see a difference in the way my makeup looked whether I used the primer or not.
Some things I do like about the foundation is that it has good coverage, and a really good shade range. I was able to pick my shade without seeing it in person and it turned out to be a great match. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this foundation, but everyone’s skin is different so I’d say to go to Sephora and get a sample if its still something you’re interested in.
