When it comes to the “rules” of fashion, I say, there are no rules! Sure, there are some tips that can help you look your best, but really, you should just wear what you like. One “rule” that I’ve never understood was “no white after Labor Day”. I think white can look super chic in fall and winter, and even an all white look for winter is beautiful! Today I’m sharing 3 looks wearing white denim that would be great for fall, or this transitional time between summer and fall, along with some tips for making white work for the cooler months.
Pair whites with darker fall tones rather than brights or pastels. Earth tones or even jewel tones scream fall and would take your white denim from summer to fall seamlessly.
Wearing an off white denim rather than a bright white, makes it seem more appropriate for fall. Just the slight tone difference makes it appear warmer and mixes well with a fall/winter color palette.
Pair your white denim with a sweater and try a wide leg trouser style, or a flare. These styles would work well with boots too!
